Mouse speed Β· Repeated clicking
Click Speed Test (CPS Test)
Click as many times as you can in five seconds. This free click speed test reports clicks per second (CPS), total clicks, and pacing consistency. It measures repeated clicking rateβnot visual reaction time or mouse aim.
What Does a Click Speed Test Measure?
A CPS test measures how rapidly you can repeat the same finger action. Your score is total accepted clicks divided by the five-second test duration. Mouse switch feel, finger technique, device polling, fatigue, and whether you use a mouse or touchscreen can all change the result.
This is intentionally separate from the Reaction Time Test, which measures one response after an unpredictable signal, and the Aim Trainer, which measures how quickly and accurately you acquire changing targets.
How Your CPS Score Is Calculated
Total clicks
Every pointer press inside the test area counts once.
Clicks per second
Total clicks Γ· 5 seconds, rounded to one decimal place.
Consistency
The test compares clicks across one-second intervals to show pacing stability.
Improve Click Speed Without Sacrificing Control
Warm up briefly, keep your hand relaxed, and compare scores on the same device. A high CPS score does not automatically mean better in-game aim. For continuous cursor control, use the Aim Tracking Test; for flicking between stationary targets, use Aim Trainer.
