Common questions we receive
My score seems too high or too low. Is something wrong?
Large score variations between sessions are normal and expected. Factors including fatigue, caffeine, ambient noise, device performance, and even time of day can shift reaction time by 40-80ms and memory span by 1-2 digits. For the most representative score, we recommend taking each test at a consistent time of day, after adequate sleep, on the same device.
Can I use Human Benchmark data in my research?
Yes. We provide aggregate, anonymised datasets to qualified researchers under a formal data sharing agreement. Send a message selecting "Data / research request" as the topic and include your institutional affiliation, IRB approval status, and a brief description of the study. We typically respond to research enquiries within 3-5 business days.
How do I delete my account and all my data?
You can request full account and data deletion at any time. Select "Privacy or data deletion request" in the form above, or email [email protected] directly. We will complete deletion within 30 days and send a confirmation. Note that anonymised, aggregate data derived from your scores (e.g., percentile calculations) cannot be removed as it contains no personally identifiable information.
Can I embed Human Benchmark tests on my website?
Educational and non-commercial use is generally fine with attribution. Commercial embedding, framing, or redistribution of our test content requires a licensing agreement. Contact [email protected] with details of your use case.
