Our tests use high-resolution browser timing APIs (performance.now()) accurate to within ±1ms. However, display latency (typically 5–50ms depending on your monitor) and input latency (20–40ms extra on touchscreens) affect results. Use a desktop with a wired mouse for the most consistent scores.
No. Our tests are modelled on validated research paradigms but are not clinical evaluations. Results are for educational and entertainment purposes only. If you have concerns about cognitive health, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Reaction time and memory can vary significantly based on sleep quality, caffeine intake, time of day, distractions, and device conditions. We recommend taking each test multiple times and looking at your average trend rather than any single result.
No. All 29 tests are fully accessible without an account. An account lets you save your score history, track trends over time, and appear on leaderboards.
Yes. We do not sell personal data. Scores are stored against your account and used only to power your dashboard and aggregate (anonymised) global statistics. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Percentiles are computed against a rolling window of recent scores across all users, trimmed at the extremes to remove outliers. Your percentile shows what percentage of test-takers you scored better than.
Mobile devices add touchscreen latency (20–50ms) and may have slower JavaScript execution. Scores on mobile are typically 30–60ms slower for reaction time tests. We label this clearly on mobile.
Our aggregate, anonymised data can be cited in academic work (please contact us for data requests). Individual score data is not available for third-party research without a formal data-sharing agreement.
